The paradox of our modern age, is the increase in card manipulation and forgery. G&D has developed the invisible machine-readable feature to decode and verify the data information stored on a card.
Every German EC card is equipped with this individual, invisible feature. The relevant identification modules in the ATM check for the existence of this feature and compare the stored information with the data on the magnetic strip, making it possible to detect manipulation or "pirate copies".
