Optimizing the entire value chain

Besides basic production of (U)SIM cards, G&D offers comprehensive services along the entire value chain. We call it Total Fulfillment Services, meaning we handle the complete SIM card supply chain on behalf of network operators, i.e., every step from transferring the operator's purchase order data to production to delivery. This process also covers G&D's implementation of the most original packaging variations: a combination of a mobile phone with marketing material, voucher, SIM card, CD-ROM, or the like. Total Fulfillment Service can also include conducting inspections of incoming goods as additional packaging components. Delivery can be made either directly to the end user, stores or data warehouses.

G&D’s Total Fulfillment Services can be completely integrated in a network operator’s existing supply chain management system. By leaving their complex logistics process up to G&D, operators can cut costs while still benefiting from faster and more secure delivery.

Packaging solutions from G&D

Production on Demand (PoD)

Production on Demand involves just-in-time production and shipping of SIMs, including lettershop and/or packaging directly from G&D to customers/points of sale in a flexible and fast manner, no matter how small the batch size is. PoD saves money and time in the SIM delivery process and supply chain by reducing SIM-related inventories and warehousing costs and improving product modifications and speeding up time to market for new product launches. At the same time, it increases flexibility.

Production on Demand includes the following:
 

• Production of cards within a few days or even a single day after receipt of order
• Production of the smallest volumes, even down to a single card
• Shipment of cards directly to stores or end customers

• Distribution via points of sale
• Delivery to corporate customers
• Delivery to MVNOs and their partners
• Direct dispatch to the customer Internet-based orders and promotions
